Internet VS Newspapers and Magazines

            In fact, reading gives a lot of advantages which are seldom realize before. Reading needs mediator like newspaper and magazine. Everyday, people buy newspaper and magazine to know about the latest information, But do you realize there is new mediator that is easy to be accessed without spending too much of your money ? it is called internet.  Internet is a global system of interconnected computer networks that use the standard Internet Protocol Suite (TCP/IP) to serve billions of users worldwide. It is a network of networks that consists of millions of private, public, academic, business, and government networks, of local to global scope, that are linked by a broad array of electronic, wireless and optical networking technologies. The Internet carries a vast range of information resources and services, such as the inter-linked hypertext documents of the World Wide Web (WWW) and the infrastructure to support electronic mail.There are three points why we should read the information on the internet instead reading on the newspapers and magazines.

            The first point is internet has many benefits for the users. In fact, when information is added to a Web site, it's immediately available for browsing by millions of Internet users. The Internet is an ideal medium of information distribution because it takes away the time lag associated with publishing content and actually making it available to users. People who needs some share about the latest information can create online discussion forums by using applications such as WebBoard, it's possible to set up online discussion forums on the Web. Content published on the internet is immediately available to a global audience of users. This makes the internet a very cost-effective medium to publish information. Reaching more than 190 countries. In education,there is so much that students can do with the Internet. Not only can they communicate with international students, they can gain from others' knowledge and experiences, participate in chatrooms, share ideas and solutions and learn about the many diverse cultures out there. 

            While the Internet does a lot for students, there are also benefits for parents and teachers. The interactive learning that the Internet provides can help students and parents with little or no English skills to learn English. Parents can become more involved in their children's education by connecting the school with homes, libraries or other access ports. Teachers can adjust to the different learning styles and in the classroom. They can also set their own pace of teaching. Individual teaching techniques can become more available, which has been proven to be a factor in student achievement. Teachers have the chance to be able to teach at more than one place simultaneously. They may be in a small town but through the Internet, they can be linked to students in more populated areas. Also, the Internet enables administrators and teachers to spend less time on administration and recordkeeping. This would also give them more time to spend with their students.

           

            The second point is only internet have better way to attract for communicate the information than newspaper and magazine.The way is about of using multimedia on internet. The capability to incorporate multimedia into Web pages is a major advantage of using internet to publish information. For example, many Web sites use sounds, graphics, animation, virtual reality, video clips and also especially style of the text to make the content easier and more interesting to browse.The style of Text on internet is more important to attract of the users for read the information on their website. It can be enhanced by a variety of textual effects to emphasize and clarify information, font size, color, style or special effects, such as shadow, blinking, bouncing or fading.

            Another important application of multimedia is to create simulations, which are computer-based models of real-life situations. Multimedia simulations often replace costly and sometimes dangerous demonstrations and training, such as in chemistry, nuclear physics, aviation and medicine. Also, multimedia simulations are used in the game industry. It can make the information more interesting to read.

            The last point is the better on limitation of internet than the newspaper and magazine. As we know that newspaper and magazine is not comfortable to people who read information,it because the limited on pages and the resources. But in other hand, the internet have unlimited resources makes the users easier to compare which one is better for the information, it have unlimited to gets information in anytime and also it is no need the number of page.

            In conclusion, internet have more advantages in conveying information of many benefits for the users, only internet have better way to attract for communicate the information than newspaper and magazine and also the better on limitation of internet than the newspaper and magazine. Hopefully after being reading of this information, I hope all of you realized that reading on internet is so interesting.
